Alright ladies and gents, welcome back to another edition of Draftkings picks! For this week’s Dell Technologies Championships (in my neck of the woods, no less), I have compiled a great list of players that hopefully will make you some money! (But probably not because I suck at this).
Yes, I know, I’m being a big old Johnny Raincloud with this one. He just won the Northern Trust, and he’s probably on a hot streak, but that salary is ASTOUNDINGLY high. Spieth is even higher at 12.1K, which is preposterous. DJ is great, but if I’m spending that on him, I expect an automatic victory. Unfortunately, I do not see that coming from him this week.
This isn’t totally blowing your entire cap, but he is a good chunk of change. I played him last week at a much lower number, and he ended up doing wonders for me (the rest of my picks, well, that’s another story). Rahm has had a great year with his only real hiccup at the US Open, and I think he will continue his great form and hopefully climb the rankings!
Am I putting Keegs up here just because he is from New England? Yes, yes I am. But also because he has completely turned his year around since June. Since being cut at the Memorial, he has not missed a single cut and has 2 top 10s. He has put up some pretty good performances over the past 3 months, and since he is very familiar with this course, I would expect him to do very well. Plus, the value of $7,600 is too good to pass up.
Kevin Kisner – $7,700
Another guy who has had a great year year with 6 top 10s and only 2 missed cuts all year. He had a great PGA Championship this month and has continually been competitive in every tournament since the Greenbriar. Overall, I think this could be a huge week for Kiz, and I am hoping he can bring that bulldog state of mind to Boston.
Once again, I took my two value picks in Keegs and Kiz, as well as my top cap guy in John Rahm. The main focus of this round was value and cut making: Charley Hoffman and Brian Harman have been killing it with top 10s this year, while the Spanish Sensation Segio has missed only one cut all year. All of these guys are pretty high up in the FedEx rankings, and I believe that each will push themselves to do better and try to win it all this week.
