Duffin’ Up Daily Fantasy: Corales Puntacana

Alright Duff Daddies and Mamas, welcome back to another edition of the Duffin’ Up Daily Fantasy picks! For the Corales Puntacana Championship, I have compiled a great list of players that hopefully will make you some money! (But probably not because I suck at this).

Top Player to Avoid:

Will Zalatoris- $ 10,900: I am a big Will Zalatoris fan. I think he can come in and have the same level of play that Morikawa, Wolff, and Hovland have. Is he coming off a T6 at the US Open? Yes he is. Is he worth this much money this week? NOPE. Unless you think he’s going to win, steer clear.

High-Salary Player that is worth it:

Mackenzie Hughes- $10,300: Mackenzie is coming off an amazing year on the PGA Tour, making it to the Tour Championship. Even though he missed the cut last week at the US Open, he finished in 2nd place at this tournament last year. I think he has another great shot to win this week.

Great Value Picks:

Kevin Chappell- $7,300: I think Kevin Chappell could be in for a major comeback this year. Not long ago, he finished 2nd at the Tour Championship and was considered one of the best up and comers in the game. He’s made 3 straight cuts and has a chance to continue to build back some confidence this week.

Tom Wilkinson – $6,700: The Kiwi has made 3 out of his last 4 cuts and has a really good chance this week to do it again. If you need a good bargain, Tom is your guy!

As mentioned above, Mackenzie Hughes is my favorite to win this week. Mattias Schwab is another young up-and-comer who has done wonders on the European Tour, and I think his game can continue to grow here. Patrick Rodgers hasn’t missed a cut since July, and I don’t see him missing this one. Bo Hoag has made 5 out of his last 6 cuts, and Will Gordon has made his last 3. Finally, Chris Kirk has made 4 out of his past 5 cuts.
