Alright Duff Daddies and Mamas, welcome back to another edition of Draftkings picks! For this week's Northern Trust (up here in my neck of the woods!), I have compiled a great list of players that hopefully will make you some money! (But probably not because I suck at this).
Top Player to Avoid:
Justin Thomas - S11,300: This one is a bit tough for me, as JT has had a great year and he has had success at TPC Boston in the past. But that 11k price tag in insanely high, and you basically need him to win in order to rationalize spending that much on a single guy.
Player who will blow your cap, but is worth it:
Rory McIlroy - $10,800: Rory has been a monster this year; he hasn't missed a single cut all year on tour, has made the top 10 in HALF of his PGA starts (6/12) and has a great record at TPC Boston (T-12, Win in 2016, T-29 2015, T5 2014). I think if you're going to spend big, then this is your go-to guy.
Great Value Picks:
Marc Leishman - $7,400: Leish has been a little up and down this year, but he has always played well at the Norton. He's made the cut in 5 of the past 6 tournaments, and made the top 20 in 2 of his past 3 starts. I think he could have a great tournament, and for $7,400 it is a steal.
Tyrell Hatton - $8,000: Hatton has been a machine this year. Before his missed cut at the PGA, he had made every cut this season, and had 5 top 10s in his 7 made cuts. He also finished T12 in his only start in Norton, having a famous almost chip-in at 18.

Overall, Hatton has had a solid year, and I could see this continuing at TPC Boston.
MY PICKS:
Jason Day has been on absolute since the restart, with four straight top 10s, and has a great record at TPC Boston. Finau has 3 top 10s in his last 4 starts, and Paul Casey is coming off of a 2nd place finish at the PGA (and a T31 at the Wyndham, but we can go ahead and skip that). Justin Rose has had a rocky season, but had a 2nd place finish in 2018 and a T10 in 2017. I put Leishman in for the reasons above, and Abraham Ancer finishes out my list with a great year and a T7 in 2018 (when nobody knew who he was). Let's hope some of these guys hit and we have a great weekend!
